Kansas says no to McCain

Today the state Kansas held is caucus for the republican party. The state of Clark Kent aka Superman, who stands for truth, justica and trhe American way, said no way to John McCain. In a stunning two to one victory Mike Huckabee Slam dunked McCain.

The final results showed Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor, with 60 percent, compared to 24 percent for McCain, the Arizona senator. Texas Congressman Ron Paul captured 11 percent of the more than 18,000 Republicans voting. He has won 36 delagates.

With Mitt Romney out of the race have all the conservatives rallied around Mike Huckabee to give McCain the finger? Could Huckabee be a real threat to John McCain? It will be interesting to see where the next few contest go. But the real question is can either of these two beat the Clinton or Obama team in November?

Because I love America

Today the only real conservative for President Mitt Romney dropped out of the race. He announced his decision to a stunned CPAC audience in a speech worthy of the great Ronald Reagan.

“This is not an easy decision for me.” Said Mitt Romney, “I hate to lose… But I entered this race because I love America, and because I love America, I feel I must now stand aside, for our party and for our country.”

Mitt Romney’s decision was based on his belief that that fighting all the way to convention would hurt John McCain’s chances of beating the democrat nominee. According to Mitt. “ If this were only about me, I would go on.” But Mitt in true patriotic fashion put his country first above his own ambitions. Something spoiler Mike Huckabee was not man enough to do.

His decision was based according to Mitt, “because we are a nation war… and Barack and Hillary have made their intentions clear regarding Iraq and the war on terror. They would retreat and declare defeat. And the consequences of that would be devastating. It would mean attacks on America, launched from safe havens that make Afghanistan under the Taliban look like child’s play. About this I have no doubt.

I disagree with Senator McCain on a number of issues, as you know. But I agree with him on doing whatever it takes to be successful in Iraq, on finding and executing Usama bin Laden, and on eliminating Al Qaeda and terror. If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in a time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror.”

Mitt Romney is a true conservative and a true patriot who puts the needs of this nation ahead of his own interests. We are missing out on a great leader, a great man and someone who would have been the best President since Ronal Reagan. We will miss you Mitt Romney may God Bless You and your family for ever.

Where are all the signs?

It’s Super Tuesday and I saw nobody holding signs. I have passed by several polling places in Massachusetts and I have seen no signs for candidates at all. Even on my route to work going threw four towns over the last few weeks I have seen almost no signs at all.

So far on my trip I have seen only one Obama sign and two Ron Paul signs. Am I the only person in this state who is interested in politics? Where are all the campaign workers hiding?

A Vote for Huckabee was a Vote for McCain

Mike Huckabee has just won West Virginia. In the first round of votes Romney was a head with Huckabee second with McCain third. In the second round McCain supports knowing that they could not win threw the votes to Huckabee knowing that a vote for Huckabee was a vote for McCain. Has Huckabee cut a deal with McCain? Is the why he hasn’t dropped out? Only time will tell.

Constipated Conservatives

Have the conservative Republicans waited to long to make a decision on who they want to support for President of the United States? Has their inability to make a decision given the nomination to someone they despise? It is beginning to look that way.

It is easy to blame the independents for the John McCain surge as front runner, but is that the real reason he is leading the way going into Super Tuesday? I don’t think so. I think the conservative party of the Republican Party has underestimated the number of moderate and liberal voters that have joined the party.

While the conservatives have looking for the next Ronal Reagan, the moderates, liberals and independents have all rallied behind there only real choice, John McCain. With Rudy Giuliani, waiting for Florida the only choice they had was Juan McAmnesty aka John McCain.

Meanwhile back at the ranch the conservatives believing they had all the time in the world the conservatives have been splitting the vote between Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Fred Thompson and maybe even Ron Paul. Even though Mitt Romney has won as many of more contests than McCain he has not emerged as a front runner because of the inability of the conservatives to rally the troops.

If the conservatives truly want a candidate that represents their values, and McCain clearly dos not, then they need to you know what or get of the pot. They need to rally all their support behind either Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee. And since Huckabee can not win they need to wake up very quickly and rally behind Mitt Romney. If they do not rally on Tuesday then the liberal Republican John McCain will be the nominee for the Republican Party.

Romney Stomps McCain In Maine

Yesterday the State of Maine held its Republican Caucuses. Mitt Romney easily stomped McCain in Maine. With the largest turn outs since 1980 when Ronald Reagan won the GOP nomination. Even though McCain was endorsed by the Maine’s two US Senators, true conservatives decided to come out and vote for Romney.

Mitt Romney received 52% of the vote to John McCain’s 21%, with Ron Paul in third with 19% and Mike Huckabee in embarrassing last place with only 6%. This gives Mitt Romney his 3rd Caucus victory and fourth overall “Gold Medal” as Mitt would put it.

To use Romney’s reference to the Olympics, which of course managed, the scorecard for all primaries and caucuses to this date looks like this:

Mitt Romney has 4 Gold and 3 Silver, 0 Bronze
Johm McCain has 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze
Mike Huckabee has 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze
Ron Paul has 0 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze

Interesting enough most of Romney’s wins have been from Caucuses and none of John McCain’s has been from Caucuses. I don’t know what the implications of that mean but I know I’ll be glued to the TV on Super Tuesday.

Should Independents be able to vote in a Primary?

This election primary of 2008 has been the year of the independents. Both John McCain and Barack Obama have both been thrust forward in their parties based mostly on the votes of Independents who are allowed to vote in open Primaries. Is this what we really want to happen?

Even if you like John McCain or Barack Obama do we really want outsiders to choose are Party nominees? If someone doesn’t have the integrity to stand up and side with a specific political party they should not have a part in picking that parties nominee. I think we need to review the process.

At least the Democrats have Super Delegates to keep things from getting out of control. But overall it seems wrong on every level to let these people vote in a primary. That would be like letting the Protestants help pick the next Pope. We would never think that letting a non-Catholic pick the next Pope or the non-religious people of a community pick the next Rabbi of the local synagogue.

So why do we let non-Republicans vote in a Republican Primary or a non-Democrats vote in a Democrat Primary. Why should people who have no ability to make a commitment, make the choice for those who do have solid convictions. In my opinion those without true convictions should be excluded until the general election.

The Ross Perot of the Republican Primary

Is Mike Huckabee destined to become the Ross Perot of the Republican Primary? It sure is looking that way. When Perot ran as an Independent against Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton he split the conservative vote with the President Bush. This split of the conservative vote propelled Bill Clinton to the Presidency.

Had Ross Perot not run for President it is most likely that Bush Sr. would have had a second term and we would never have herd of Hillary Clinton. We would have been spared from seeing our first President ever to be impeached. We would have had a strong military and maybe even have been spared the horror of 9/11.

Ross Perot could have screwed up the last 16 years with out even trying. Unfortunately it looks like Mike Huckabee is poised to follow in his footsteps. Mike Huckabee has won nothing since Iowa and he is poised to win virtually nowhere except in his feeble imagination. Every vote that he steels away from conservative Mitt Romney is literally a vote for John McCain.

Huckabee’s reluctance to except reality could create a nominee that no true conservative Republican wants to see, a McCain / Lieberman or McCain / Giuliani ticket in the fall. So if true conservatives hate McCain and Huckabee is a true conservative why would he allow this tragedy to occur? Is Mike Huckabee in McCain’s pocket? Is Huckabee hoping for a McCain / Huckabee ticket? Or is he simply a naive prideful preacher with no sense of what’s best for the party.

Mike Huckabee could single handedly like Ross Perot put another Clinton in the White House this year. So when you get out and vote on Tuesday remember that a vote for Mike Huckabee is not only a vote John McCain it may also be a vote for Hillary Clinton.

Has Mitt Romney Been Terminated?

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California has endorsed John McCain for President. Although the Governor is far from a conservative he is popular in his home state of California. So far most of the so-called support for John McCain is from moderate to liberal Republicans, an oxymoron if ever there was, and no hardcore conservatives.

The reasoning for their support of John McCain is that he is the guy that always reaches across the isle to work with the Democrats. This of course is why true Republican conservatives hate John McCain. They believe he is willing to flushing the ideals and principles of the Republican Party agenda in a heartbeat. Most conservative’s feel that John McCain is a Democrat in a Republican suit.

So why then is John McCain in position of taking the nomination for the Republican Party away from Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is considered by far by conservatives to be far more conservative than John McCain ever though about being.

There are two reasons for the success of John McCain. The first is open primaries where non-Republicans can vote in our primaries. And the second reason was that Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee were splitting the conservative vote. With Independents and Democrat cross over voters coming out in force for John McCain.

The only way Mitt Romney will win the nomination of the Republican Party is to rally the entire conservative vote. He must convince those in the Party who despise McCain that a vote for Mike Huckabee is a vote for John McCain. He must convince them that Mike Huckabee can beat John McCain and they should vote for him or turn the party over to moderate to liberal Republicans. But then that’s just my opinion.

The Democrat Dream Team

Are Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama considering each other as running mates? In Thursday nights debate a question was asked of both candidates to see if they would consider the other as a running mate.

Although neither made a commitment to the other, neither said no to the idea. Barack Obama went as far as to say “ Hillary would be on anyone’s short list” Could we have been looking at the Democrat ticket for November the Democrat Dream Team? I think so.

I guess we just have to wait to see who will be on top of the ticket and who will be on the bottom. With John McCain most likely the nominee for the Republican Party the Dream Team could kick major backside in November.

So who will it be Clinton / Obama or will it be Obama / Clinton? Either way the Republicans will have a tough uphill battle beating that pair. But then that’s just my opinion.

Making Money Online with Your Blog

If you are a blogger like me then the idea of making money for doing what you enjoy is an amazing idea. Recently I discovered a website called Blogsvertise. Blogsvertise has advertises who are eager to pay you and I money to blog about there product of service.

As you and I know that outside of the work place most of our societies interactions are on blogs and social networks like My Space, Face Book and Friendster.

To make money with Bologsvertise is relatively simple. First you need to go to Blogsvertise and register your account and blog. After you have set up an account with Blogsvertise you will add your sites URL for approval.

Once they have approved your site Blogsvertise will give you assignments from specific advertisers, who are looking to build traffic to their sites threw your electronic word of mouth advertising. In writing the article about the advertisers you need to write two or three paragraphs or at least 75 words. You need to add at least three links to the advertiser.

For best results review the websites and look for key words like the company name and product names. Think about what you might type into a search engine to find out about the product and or service the advertiser is offering to the public. Use those key words several times in the body of the article so search engines will be more likely to locate your site.

Please Stand Up

In the Democrat response to President Bush’s State of the Union address. It was mentioned that it is not important who claps, cheers or stands in response to comments made by the President. It was suggest that we the people do not care about such things.

I seriously beg to differ. When the President is talking about not adding new taxes and the democrats sit in their seats arms folded and looking constipated it is something I care about. I care because by your actions you are saying that you disagree.

That means these scum bag leaches want to such us dry. They do not believe that you the hard working backbone of America should have access to your own money. They believe in playing Robin Hood. They want to steel from the rich and give to the poor. The problem is who they consider the rich.

To the democrats the rich are any individuals who do not need their social programs and are therefore not obligated to vote for them in fear of losing their benefits. So in essence if you have a job you are the rich.

If these tax breaks are really just for the rich why are the wealthy democrats against it. Does anyone with a brain cell honestly believe that someone with money wants to pay higher taxes? Is they do they are certainly not intelligent enough to run anything.

So let me say in closing when it comes to lower taxes you better stand up or go home and never come back to Washington again. Because it dos matter to those who work hard and pay their taxes. So for God sake please stand up.
